摘要：

认知术语学是认知语言学与传统术语学的整合,代表着术语学研究的最新方向。从认知术语学角度来看,术语不仅是专业信息的载体和存储形式,更是人们基于范畴化、概念化后认知加工的结果。认知术语学顺应了语言学从规定性、描述性到阐释性的发展路径,新冠肺炎的命名充分说明了认知语言学主流理论如概念隐喻理论、概念转喻理论、概念整合理论、框架理论和原型范畴理论在术语生成过程中的重要作用,体现了术语学和认知语言学的完美契合。

Abstract:

Being the integration of terminology and cognitive linguistics, cognitive terminology represents the latest trend in terminology study. From a cognitive terminology perspective, terms are not only the crystallization and representation of specialized information, but also the result of cognitive processing by categorization and conceptualization. Cognitive terminology adapts itself to the development of linguistics from prescriptive approach to descriptive and explanatory approach. The naming of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia fully demonstrates the major roles played by mainstream theories like Conceptual Metaphor theory, Conceptual Metonymy theory, Conceptual Integration theory, Frame Semantics and Prototype Theory. Consequently, cognitive terminology is the perfect integration of cognitive linguistics and traditional terminology.
