Abstract: The value of the term determines the nature and the method of the terminology work. This paper looks at the terminological work and its method from the perspective of the terminological value for the purpose of enabling more people to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of the terminological work and to be familiar with the methods of the terminology work. In doing so, the terminology work in China can be better promoted. 
