简评R.泰默尔曼的《走向术语描述的新道路:社会认知方法》

摘要： 当今社会认知术语学的代表人物——比利时女学者R.泰默尔曼所著的英文术语学著作《走向术语描述的新道路:社会认知方法》一书,是她在自己十几年术语学教学和研究实践的基础上,从社会认知的角度,对传统术语学理论思想进行的再思考。该书自2000年出版之后,在西方术语学界引起很大反响,被誉为“在社会和人类科学领域中开创了新局面、引人深思的术语描述的新方法”。文章简单介绍了此书的主要内容,对这部书的术语学理论价值进行简要评论。

Abstract: In 2000, Towards New Ways of Terminology Description: The Sociocognitive Approach, written by Belgium female scholar Rita Temmerman, was published by John Benjamins Publishing Company. This book was regarded as a thought-provoking alternative in domains of the social and human sciences breaking new ground. It is a book based on the author's many years' practical terminological teaching practices and researches. What is the main content of this book? And what a sort of contributions and inspirations it gave us? This paper try to give readers a reasonable answer.
