术语学视域下的哲学术语翻译方法研究

On the Translation Methods of Philosophical Terms from the Perspective of Terminology

摘要/Abstract

摘要：

在术语学视域下,文章对《科学思想史》中的哲学术语翻译方法进行了研究。结果发现哲学术语翻译方法具有多样性,音译和意译两大主要翻译方法分别有9种和7种;并发现向原文靠拢的音译翻译方法受到李约瑟的重视,尊重中国文化和为科学思想发展服务的目的是其主要考量。

Abstract:

From the perspective of terminology, this paper makes a study of the translation methods of philosophical terms in History of Scientific Thought. We found that the translation methods of philosophical terms have diversity, and there are nine and seven major translation methods in transliteration and free translation. We also found that the transliteration translation method is valued by Joseph Needham. Respecting Chinese culture and the purpose of serving the development of scientific thoughts are Joseph Needham’s main consideration.
