Abstract: The source and flow of the word landscape both in English and Chinese were explored. Landscape and its derivatives are increasingly existed in English literatures. The author suggested a series of corresponding Chinese nomenclature should be adopted for such words as moonscape, seascape, soilscape, soundscape and smellscape,etc.
