Abstract: When introducing and translating of loan words into Chinese, descriptive forms, include loan translation and equivalent translation, are used frequently to be in conformity with the principle of term systematicness and definition ordered. This article induces the difficulty of descriptive forms, and then points out the difference between loan translation and equivalent translation. Eventually , when it comes to terms, it suggests that loan translation be better than equivalent translation.
