Abstract: Chinese characters formed a system, which controls the subsystem of chemical elements, that is, the selecting, formulating and evolution of characters for chemical elements are controlled by the Chinese character system. At the same time, characters of chemical elements have their own features. Analysis of characters about chemical elements can provide some references on the study of scientific terminology.
