Abstract: Term standardization is a work with characteristics of standardization,research,coordination and long-term. Collecting words, determining the names, definition and translation work should follow a certain standard. The work of term standardization should be researched from science and technology, as well as language. Also, term standardization need a series of coordination between the scholars in the same discipline, between term workers and scholars, between different disciplines, people names and place names, languages, and so on. Term standardization is a work only with a starting point, but no end, and it is not only the requirement of the historical development, but also the need of scientific progress.
