Abstract: Based on analysis of some terms in physics, we introduce the principles of single meaning, scientific, conventional, and coherence. We also propose some principles for Chinese translation of foreign scientists, that is, translated names should be complied with masters, conventional, subject to main subject, and complied with standard. In order to regulate the use of terms in press, publishing, teaching, research and related departments, this paper lists some revisions in physics terms.
