Embellishment on 07 Type Military Uniforms “shoudai” (Ribbon) Should Be “suidai” (Braid)

Abstract: Conforming to the trend of international uniforms, the PLA 07 type military uniforms have increased the variety of embellishments and all the PLA officers are issued with ceremonial uniforms, on which a golden silk band is called as “shoudai” (ribbon) by the authority and the press. We suggest that “shoudai” (ribbon) should be called as “suidai” (braid).
