Abstract: This paper reports on the findings of a bibliometric analysis of nearly 600 papers on translation of terms over the past ten years. The study finds that the research on translation of terms increased in the quantity of academic periodical articles, with linguistic perspectives constituting the mainstream. The key words of high frequency, such as term, science and technology, traditional Chinese medicine, etc., are the most common research topics. The translation of terms is in a big demand for empirical studies and mainly based on the academic contributions from the field of linguistics, translatology and terminology.
