On Translators' Terminological Awareness in Chinese Translation of FrameNet Frames

Abstract

Abstract: Chinese FrameNet(CFN) takes FrameNet(FN) as the reference, and therefore, the English-Chinese Translation of FN frames has become an indispensable part in building CFN. Because each frame contains some “technical terms”, translators' terminological awareness may play a significant role in the quality-control of CFN frames by providing some theoretical support in the English-Chinese Translation of FN Frames.
