Chinese Translation of the Less Commonly Taught Language Scientific Terms in the Perspective of the Belt and Road Initiative

Abstract:

During the promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative in the new era, it’s important that we should pay more and more attention to studies on the translation of the Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTLs) terms. Taking LCTLs terms in Ukrainian as example, this paper analyzes the generative mechanism of LCTLs terms, and proposes some effective and constructive suggestions on their Chinese translations.
