English Terms Related to Corpus Cavernosum Based on Latin Etymology

Abstract:

At present, the medical English terms related to corpus cavernosum approved in China are not consistent with those commonly used in the world. This paper reviews the main revision processes of modern anatomical terms, analyzes the historical cause of the differences from the perspectives of Latin etymology, morphology and medical specialty, and finally puts forward some corresponding revision suggestions.
