Abstract:

As a term, token is rich in meaning and can refer to multiple Chinese term concepts, so it has multiple Chinese translations in different fields. This article sorts out the meaning of the token itself and its Chinese translations in the fields of Computer Science and Technology, Information Science and Technology, Psychology, and Blockchain, and analyzes the inherent meanings of these translations. It further analyzes the reasons for multiple translated names, and points out the principles and methods of scientific naming for the purpose to provide a reference for a better understanding of the Chinese translation and connotation of token.
