Abstract: Since the revelation of illegal manufacturers making medicinal capsules from scrap leather, the little capsule has attracted more and more attention. Considering the source of raw material, vegetable capsule is much safer than the traditional gelatin capsules. This paper introduced the vegetable capsules in the aspects of their conception, origin, raw material varieties, manufacture processing, development etc, so that people can get better sense of vegetable capsules.
