Abstract: In 1980, China submitted accession request to World Intellectual Property Organization and became one of the members. Since then, the field of intellectual property has grown rapidly in China. There are two Chinese translation versions of intellectual property. The scope and characteristic of intellectual property is discussed to find a better translation.
