Abstract: From the perspective of scientific and technological translation,the article briefly dissertates the urgency and the feasibility of establishing professional termbase for German-Chinese,Russian-Chinese and other languages.It also points out that the shortage of reference books(dictionary) may restrick the improvement of translation in these languages.Therefore,in order to cooperate with international advanced translation model,setting up a bi-languages professional term repository for joint-stock cooperative translation business can be suggested.
