Research on English Translation of Maritime Trade Supervision Terms in Museums of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Based on “Term Online”

Based on “Term Online”, this paper discusses English translation of maritime-related terms about maritime trade supervision, and analyzes the inconsistency of maritime-related terms about maritime trade supervision in the exhibition words of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area museums, the inconsistency of terms from different sources of scientific and technological terms in the “Term Online” platform, and the inconsistency of maritime-related terms about maritime trade supervision in the exhibition words of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area museums with different sources of scientific and technological terms in the “Term Online” platform, and gives suggestions in order to facilitate the accurate dissemination of maritime-related scientific and technological terms. This paper provides a large number of case studies on the theory and basic principles of term translation, which is helpful to practice the cultural mission of maritime-related museums, promote the standardized use and dissemination of maritime-related scientific and technological terms. And it is of practical significance for “term online” to show more comprehensively the development and achievement of China’s scientific and technological noun cause.
