Abstract: This article discusses several academic arguments on traditional Chinese herb Artemisia annua and its extract artemisinin. The author talks about the authentic resource of traditional Chinese herb Artemisia annua in botanic view, introduces the clinical applications of both Artemisia annua and its abstract artemisinin, and in the meanwhile, the author gives her own point of view on the argument about the labeling of the medicine artemisinin and the protection method when it is applied in clinical practice.
