Thoughts on the Multiple Layers and Dimensions of Term Translation Studies in Social Sciences

Abstract

Abstract: Social science term studies are characterized by multiple layers of research objects and multi-dimensional research perspectives. The research objects cover linguistic systems, conceptual systems and cultural systems, and accordingly their research perspectives involve linguistic, conceptual and cultural dimensions. Different research objects and perspectives lead to different research methodologies, including those employed in linguistics and research on conceptual history and cultural transmission.
