Abstract: The author analyzed the distribution of word-term and phrase-term in the terminological database GLOT-C, and tried to explain the phenomenon of phrase-terms dominated in terminological system.Based on theoretical analysis, the author proposed the economic law of term formation, and described the law with FEL formula.
