Abstract: The analysis of terminology models in different periods shows that the triangle model including term, concept and object is the classical terminology model. We constructed different terminology models with different foundations (philosophy, linguistics, or neuroscience) and different aims (terminology management, translation, artificial intelligence etc.).Our results indicate that the establishment of terminology model ultimately depends on the study of key concepts and their relationship. In addition, this paper is supposed to illustrate the context and trends of terminology development.
