On the Implementation of Systematicness Principle for Terms in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract: Systematicness is not only an important characteristic of terminology, but one of the main principles of examining and approving scientific and technological terms.The article discusses the Systematicness of traditional Chinese medicine from the angle of constructing and revising the concept system, dominating a term, connotation definition, translation between Chinese and English and choreography. Additionally, TCM terms has some special circumstances, such as the coexistence of a variety of theoretical system and a mixture of Chinese medical words with western medical ones. These problems have been properly dealt with in the examining and approving process.
