Terminology: Turn from Method to Methodology

Abstract

Abstract: In this article, we take “terminology” as a method, rather than object and theory of the terminology science, and discuss the prescriptive terminology and its disadvantages of traditional terminology. Based on the overall tendency of the multi-paradigm in linguistics, we attempted to build up a “four in one” methodological model, which consists of thinking, linguistic, intellective and cultural properties.
