Terminology Management in Scientific Translation

Abstract

Abstract: As one of the key computer aided translation technologies, terminology management is indispensable to modern translation project management. Scientific translation is characterized by varied and specialized terms which require constant maintenance; therefore, terminology management plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of technical translation projects. This paper firstly analyzes the importance and significance of terminology management in scientific translation projects, and then illustrates the effective processes and methods of terminology management so as to improve the efficiency and quality of scientific translation projects.
