An English Translation of “huanyuan” in “zhijie huanyuan tie”: Reduction or Reduced ?

Abstract: Considering the true meaning of “zhijie huanyuan tie”, we think that taking “direct reduction iron” as its English translation is wrong. Based on study of original English edition iron and steel literatures, we suggest the right English translation of “zhijie huanyuan tie”.
