Abstract:

There are certain differences in the pronunciation of the Japanese Common Language between native and non-native regions. One of the reasons for these differences is that the “pitch ratio”of pronunciation varies between the two types of regions where Japanese is used.Based on a comparative study of the longitudinal “extreme value frequency ratio”of the pitch curves of the pronunciation of words or specific syllables within words in native and non-native Japanese regions, this paper briefly presents these differences and summarizes the general patterns.
