Abstract:

Corpus stylistics enables systematic investigation of stylistic features through quantitative methods, yet its application in machine translation studies remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by compiling a comparable corpus of human and machine-translated Chinese prose.A multidimensional analysis identifies distinct strengths and limitations in human and machine translations, supported by statistical data and textual comparisons.Applying Actor-Network Theory, the research examines human-machine interaction patterns in translation processes, aiming to promote the spread of excellent Chinese prose more effectively.
