Abstract:

In order to explore the effective strategies of Chinese words in German translation,this paper systematically analyzes the definition,classification and important role of Chinese words in cultural communication,and points out the difficulties and challenges faced in translating these words.Through the comprehensive application of literature research and case analysis,this paper puts forward the translation principles of accuracy,comprehensibility and cultural adaptability,and elaborates specific translation strategies such as the combination of literal and free translation,borrowing German equivalents or similar words,translation creation and annotation.The results show that these strategies can effectively improve the quality of German translation of words with Chinese characteristics,promote the in-depth development of Sino-German cultural exchanges,and provide useful reference and guidance for translation practice.
