Abstract: As it raises the argument with such appellations what concerns about two examples of Internet and GPS recently,this article discusses the differences between general terms and appellations,and itsnomenclature treatment separately.Following the different viewpoints about appellations in history,along with the status of the substantial differences and formal differences between general terms and appellations,this paper quoted out the necessity of its distinctiveness obviously,in such manner our terminology workers should notify about the principles of translation of those foreign terms separately,as well as its publication practices were recommended.
