A lot of acronyms are occurred in modern English papers in various scientific fields. In Chinese language, there are no acronyms, but there exist abbreviations of Chinese words. Chinese abbreviations are shortened forms of simple or complex terms, and some Chinese words are omitted from original terms. Chinese abbreviations have many advantages in linguistics.
