Abstract: Laser display is a new display technology. Laser, as light source, has advantages in a large coverage of color gamut, high color saturation and large screen display, etc. This paper introduces the concept, characteristics, status quo and trend of laser display, discusses the advantages and existing problems, and analyzes the prospect of it, which shows the huge potential of a new generation of display technology.
