Abstract: With the rapid development of globalization and information technology, science and technology exchanges between countries have become increasingly frequent, and terminological translation has gradually become a concern. Based on discussing the capabilities of term translators, we propose scientific translators should have a solid theoretical foundation for the translation, have a good command of solid foundation of translation theory, have good foreign language and professional skills, be proficiency in the basic methods of terminology, and have a strong sense of terminology standards.
