Abstract:

With the acceleration of globalization, translation plays a bridge role in transmission of Chinese martial arts which are typically with special national cultural feature. Because of rich cultural connotation for terms in martial arts, their English translation are often very difficult in using equal expression. This paper proposes the alphabetization on the translation for terms concerning martial arts, and hope to provide new ideas and references for the translation on martial arts terms.
