GILT: New Term in Localization Industry

Abstract

Abstract:

GILT is an important acronym in the localization industry formed from the initial letters of globalization, internationalization, localization and translation. In order to deepen the understanding of the four terms and avoid ambiguity and misinterpretation in international communication, this paper presents a detailed analysis of connotations, differences and relations of these words.
