Abstract:

Based on analyzing the application example of “ disease pattern”, “ symptome” and “ sign” from medical journals, we discussed the misuse of “contraindication”, “indication” and “syndrome”. The misuses of contraindication are mainly occurred in surgery, clinical medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology , preventive medicine and hygiene. The misuses of indication are mainly distributed in surgery, phymatology, pharmacy, clinical medicine. The misuses of syndrome are mainly distributed in surgery, clinical medicine, endocrine gland and systemic disease, obstetrics and gynecology. So researchers and editors should distinguish the difference between the “disease pattern”,“symptome” and “sign”.
