Discussion on Denomination of Yijing(疫痉) in Chinese Medicine during the Period of Republic of China

Abstract: During the period of Republic of China,Yijing (疫痉) had spread widely in the region of Jiangshu Province,Zhejiang Province and Shanghai City.Since it was a new pestilence,it had many new names at that time, such as Jingwen (convulsive pestilence痉瘟),Fuwen(latent pestilence伏瘟),Yijing (pestilent convulsion疫痉),Epidemic Cerebrospinal Meningitis,DCSM (流行性脑脊髓膜炎).Most doctors of Chinese medicine agree with the name of Yijing (pestilent convulsion疫痉).For the first time,it is standardized in the forthcomin〖JP3〗g standard,Chinese Terms of Internal Medicine,Gynecology,Pediatrics of Chinese Medicine(《中医内妇儿科名词》).
