Abstract: This paper introduces the origins, definitions and meanings of some commonly used terms related to climate change, which include 12 terms, i.e. green house gas (GHG), Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Bali Road Map, clean development mechanism (CDM), jointimplementation (JI), emissions trading (ET), low carbon economy (LCE), carbon capture and storage (CCS), Copenhagen accord, business as usual (BAU), carbon tariff and climate-friendly technology.
