Abstract: Term translation is one of the most important parts in military translation. The accuracy of term translation determines the correct understanding of military texts. In this paper, the author studies the translation principles of Russian military terms and discusses some difficulties involved in it, such as polysemy terms and synonym terms, literal translation and free translation, etc. Moreover, some tips on the Chinese translation of Russian military terms are summarized in this paper.
