Abstract: Edward’s “traveling theory” explores regularities and channels which are based on the distribution and evolution of radical theories throughout 20th century. The explanatory power and new insight offered by “traveling theory” have attracted many researchers’ attention. Chinese cultural and intellectual life benefited much from the “traveling theory”. However, the Chinese translation of this term is not unified in Chinese academic community. Based on the definition of this term, this paper proposes the translating suggestions.
