Abstract: With Chinese oil companies expanding the South American oil markets, the Spanish language in petroleum engineering plays an increasingly important role for Chinese oil companies to carry out international cooperation. Such vocabulary of petroleum engineering covers a wide range of technical terms and strong linguistic characteristics. This paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of vocabulary from the perspective of word-formation.
