Abstract:

The soundness and perfection of the theoretical system of a discipline can be reflected in the construction of the terminology system of it. For disciplines, the construction of terminology system is of great significance to the knowledge structure and knowledge dissemination of disciplines. The terminology system reflects the current status of discipline theory development and is the source power of discipline development. Based on the basic theory of terminology, this paper intends to explore the problems related to the knowledge system of Confucius’ renology from three aspects: (1)the analysis of the terminology structure of Confucius’ renology; (2)the formation and development of the renology terminology set; and (3)the construction of the terminology system of renology. We hope our results can facilitate the external communication and dissemination of Confucius’ renology thought, and at the same time to provide references for the terminology collation of other fields of Chinese thought and culture.
