A Survey of Translation of Terminology in China

Abstract: This paper outlines the history of translation of terminology(social terminology as an example) in China,describing the translation techniques in different periods.Then the social and cultural factors are analyzed which influenced translator’s motive.Also general comments are made on the typical theory about translation of terminology.
