Discussion on the English Translation of “shuzihua cehui” and “xinxihua cehui”

Abstract

Abstract: New technologies and theories are continuing to be applied in traditional field of surveying and mapping, which brings many new terms into this field. However, it is difficult to translate these new terms from Chinese to foreign languages. This paper discusses the translation of two popular terms of surveying and mapping, “shuzihua cehui” and “xinxihua cehui”.
