Abstract: Medical translation, categorized as sci-tech translation, is generally supposed to follow the criteria of “faithfulness” and “expressiveness”, while ethics are also to be taken into account in the process. When conveying medical information, translation of medical terminologies should also abide by mainstream ethics.
