Abstract: Based on checking a large amount of data, we took systematic and comparative analysis on liver imaging related terms, and described terms from the liver of viscera, liver physiology, hepatic pathology. We pointed out the importance of standard English translation for liver zang-xiang terms: to promote the unification of the standard of English translation of liver zang-xiang, to promote standardization of English translation of traditional Chinese medicine, and to be helpful to the spread and development of liver zang-xiang theory.
