Abstract:

Scientific journals and their editors are responsible for promoting the standardized expression of terms. This paper puts forward four groups of words, and finds the universality of confused use of these words through the literature search of CNKI. With the help of dictionaries, Baidu’s Academic Search Engine and the scientific and technological terms published by the China National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technologies, we analyzed the difference between two groups words and the correct use of the other two groups. We think that journal editors need to pay more attention to the standardized expression of scientific terms, check and discriminate the inaccurate words in their work, and make sure that there is evidence for the choose.
