Abstract: There is a close connection between terminology translation and terminology standardization and they influence each other. This paper discusses at first how to develop the positive impact of terminology translation on the terminology standardization from the perspective of terminology translation, and then how to promote the standardized terminology translation from the perspective of terminology construction. The paper also points out that translators should master and use the knowledge of terminology well in order to achieve the standardization and specification of terminology translation, and thus have a positive impact on terminology standardization. Meanwhile, terminology standardization should expand its horizons and fields within the broad context of terminology construction.
