Abstract: Collecting synonyms and developing an error correction tool for application-oriented terms could get multiplier effect on publicity and promotion of terms. Synonym of standard terms refers to those which have the same connotation with the published and authorized term, but are different in morphology. The identification of the synonym of standard terms should go through two steps:collection and examination. The methods of collection include manually collection and automatic extraction. Examination of the standard terminology synonym must ensure the semantic equivalence.
